CAUTIOUS!

we are very grateful as the tragic incident does not occur to us, high sympathy to them.

so sudden, as the news of the collapse of elevated viaduct is still being commentated, trauma freshly haunts victims' mind, people around the debris watched live 3 cranes collapsed. those cranes were busy lifting down all the components of the tumbled-down steel box structure, massive and dense but now . see others more pictures showing the dramatic incident.

Do you have any idea when will Inderlok-mundka section will be operational?? I have seen pillar strengthening is being done in few places. Why was it not designed earlier in proper way?? I think this section could have completed earlier if proper planning would have been done. The places which is being completed or taking time(like at Punjabi Bagh Flyover, Railway crossing etc) should have been started eariler(i mean simultaneous work by pouring more manpower and resources. Please comment!!

actually..there were a lot of problem there :

1) one long route had been divided into a few part and being awarded to different contractor....like us, eventhough we were not the first team entered the site, but we finish first...
2) main point is most contractor was facing money problem. in delhi most transaction did in cash, can u imagine what happen if the payment comes late? even if you put more workers, how are you going to plan your money? how about if idling? time is money. like our company, we had to get money from the capital/ HQ, if not we might be losing more as time goes by.
3) some part, the contractors had to deal with local authority which is lack of time, process and money etc..affecting the progress.
4) design & location...it is related to the designers. as DMRC decided for it, the contractors will just let the construction be.
5) there are some companies got over-floating prject, cannot handle too much project at a moment. then what happen? of course will stuck. so, they got to not being greedy. this is affecting as corruption is the main topic to be discussed. i dont like to comment on this coz it will be very sensitive to others.
6) i dunno when will inderlok-mundka phase will be operational. it supposedly be before october 2010 (before the commonwealth games), we finished our part, but i saw other parts are not. dont you just see this metro line only, help yourself to review what happen with the stadium? aquatic dome? velodrom? the airport? metro line to faridabad? gurgaon? something had to be done right? let it be "sab hota hai"????

actually a lot more had to be explain...but we have to view from many angles. its complicated but still have solution. thank you ranjit for reading my blog. really appreciate your time spending. you are so welcome.

regards.

i felt called to say about planning. planning is about money, material, machinery, manpower and time. they have to be guided. if one spoil, affecting others. so u can imagine the relation in between constractor and the sub-contractors? suppliers? client? local authority? the public? making plan using softwares is a method on how to implement but in actual what happen? very common heard people will complain about the lack of planning. one more issue, did you know that the inflation in delhi is quite higher? i mean that the price of each material is increasing...like being double for just a year...
