LAST SATURDAY, 21st OF MARCH 2009, LAUNCHING GIRDER NO.2 WAS BEING AUTOLAUNCHED. 2 PIERS PARTICULARLY NAMED P35 AND P34 OF THE SO CALLED HOLD ON AREA ARE NOW FINISH ITS CURING PERIOD, APPARENTLY READY TO SUPPORT LOAD. BY MONDAY, ONE SEGMENT IS LIFTED FOR LOADING TEST. MEANWHILE, THE THIRD PIER OF P33 SEEMS STANDING STRAIGHT WITHOUT ITS HEAD WHICH SOON BE CONSTRUCTED.

C.I.S COMPLEMENTATION

YESTERDAY, 16th OF MARCH THE LAST SPAN OF CAST IN-SITU SPAN WAS CONCRETED. THIS SPAN IS COMPLEMENTING THE 15 CIS SPANS AT MUNDKA. THE CONCRETING STARTED BY AFTERNOON, AND LAST FOR SEVERAL HOURS. AS A LAST SPAN, MOST WORKERS CAME TO SEE, AS I BROUGHT TOGETHER ON HOW THE FIRST IS DONE BY. THIS SPAN OF PP140-PP141 IS A TRAPEZIUM IN SHAPE WITH A WIDTH OF 9180mm AND 11892mm FOR EACH SOUTH AND NORTH CHAINAGE, PARTICULARLY AND A TOTAL LENGTH OF 25 METERS. NO SUCH BAD INCIDENT HAPPENED.

FRENZY MORE ABATED
