CIS UPDATES

Photo 1 : First casted span located at CIS II site.

AS UPDATED, SO FAR 5 SPANS OF CAST IN-SITU HAVE BEEN CONCRETED. TWO OF THEM ARE NOW ON PREPARATION FOR STRESSING AND THEN BEING LOWERED. SPAN PP145A-PP146A AT CIS II USED TO COMPLETE THE FIRST LAYER CASTING ON 17th JULY, PROCEED THE SECOND LAYER 12 DAYS AFTER ON 29th JULY. MEANWHILE SPAN PP136A-PP137A AT CIS I GOT ITS FIRST LAYER ON 19th JULY, AND SECOND LAYER POURED ON 29th JULY.

IN THE MEANTIME, ANOTHER SPAN AT CIS II PP142A-PP143A IS PLANNED TO BE CASTED JUST AROUND THE CORNER, MAYBE ON THE DAY 13th OF AUGUST 2008. ANOTHER 2 SPANS ARE NOW ON PROGRESS IS PP144A-PP145A AND PP141A-PP142A, WHICH NOW SETTING THE BOTTOM SHUTTERS AND JUST FINISH THE CRIBS INSTALLATION, PARTICULARLY. AS CALCULATED, CAST IN-SITU PROGRESS IS NOW REACHING ITS 45% OF COMPLETION. IT SHOWS SOME SPEED UP COMPARE TO LAST A FEW MONTHS PROGRESS.
